At the end of the road, the challenge is always trying to just deal with “others” and the situations they create. Not all, but the occasional few. Some think that showing up late, dragging ass setting up doesn’t in any way preclude them from performing their whole entire set at length. Some won't have any consideration for the act playing next. Never thinking that perhaps the people showing up were there - to see the next act.

The band before me was scheduled to be off the stage completely at 9:55pm. Not done at 9:55, off the stage at 9:55. Yet at 10:21 still on stage with guitar feedback issues, they announce they were going to do “one more”. Yep. That pretty much sums it up. And the cops were all down there on Indiana Ave ready to do the cop thing. So, we just broke the drums all back down and loaded it all back out.

To my fans and friends and new people that drove all the way down there in the middle of the night to see an old man get it on, I am deeply and profoundly sorry. I’ll do better next time. And thank you guys that got vocal about it.
